As with all Old Dog Guitar Gear products, each unit is hand crafted one at a time with the highest quality components. The Lucky Dog boasts separate gain and master volume controls. This allows you to dial in the amount of distortion you want and still be able to control the overall volume without compromising tone. Never again will you have to settle for only clean tones when you play at home. With the Lucky Dog, you can drive the tubes into maxiumum distortion and still retain a volume that won't disturb the peace. Of course, you can always crank the master volume knob if disturbing the peace is what you seek!

Adding even more flexibility to this little gem is a full tone stack with distinct treble, midrange and bass controls. In addition, it includes separate outputs for 4 ohm, 8 ohm and 16 ohm speakers so it can be matched with almost anything you'll run across.

The Lucky Dog is biased to work with EL34 or KT66 tubes and comes with one of each. With the EL34 the tone is a bit more agressive and the crunch and distortion is more pronounced.
